As a member of the Production Department, you will be responsible for:

During EPCIC / Project Phase
 

Reviewing relevant project deliverables as per LNG Technology and operations best practices.

  • Providing operational inputs and oversight in the execution phase @ yard of the FLNG project.
  • Participating in FAT & SAT of the marine/hull systems/equipment.
  • Supervision of all marine systems aspects during all phases (completion, commissioning installation, handover), to ensure a smooth transition from development to operational phase.
  • Providing necessary procedures and controls to support construction, quality assurance / quality control and certification aspects of design, procurement, construction and commissioning of marine facilities.

During OPERATIONS Phase
 

Leading the Interface with calling ships, LNGCs, LPGCs and Condensate offtake tankers throughout their stay at the port, including loading procedures and implementing company's port regulations and including mutual safety and security checklist.

  • Supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all marine aspects of operations manuals pertaining to vessels operations within FLNG: "Marine Terminal Self-Assessment Procedures", "Facility Regulations", "Cargo Handling Manual", "Emergency Response Manual", cargo related matters with sales administration and product sales, charter party and sales purchase agreements".
  • Supervising the activities of all tugs, support fleet, mooring launches and pilot boat, to ensure compliance with the service agreement in place.
  • Leading the activities of the LNGCs, LPGCs and Condensate Tankers Compatibility assessments.
  • Participating in activities and discussions related to "Safety of Navigation" in the operations area.
  • Participating in the preparation of pre-arrival compatibility checks and vetting on the LNG & LPG Carries and Condensate Tankers intended to call at FLNG, in compliance with the offshore terminal procedures, FLNG information and regulations as well as the related SPAs.
  • Assuring that marine operations limitations are properly complied with.
  • Assuring that all marine operations conducted on board the FLNG are in full compliance with FLNG intact stability and structure allowable strength.
  • Supervising daily activity of the marine DCS Operator, Cargo and Ballast Officer, and replace him/her during absence times.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and any applicable law and guidance to achieve a safe efficient terminal and marine operation.
  • Ensuring HSE codes and standards are complied with, verifying that the risk is as low as reasonably practicable, and ensuring the equipment will be operated in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner.
  • Monitoring weather conditions closely and ensuring that limitations of laid down marginal are properly complied with.
  • Monitoring performance of LNG/LPG/Condensate Tankers (and crew) when moored alongside the FLNG, to safeguard facility and ensure that LNG/LPG/Condensate Tankers maintain compliance with:
    • National Legislation (particularly environmental legislation),
    • FLNG Regulations,
    • Recommended best operating practices as outlined in ISGOT,
    • Recommended best operating practices as outlined by SIGTTO,
    • Recommendations outlined in OCIMF publications.
  • Supervising and providing support for safe, efficient and reliable execution of all marine operations activities.
  • Acting as area supervisor and organizing, in close coordination with Marine Superintendent and area operators, all marine operations PTW issued and ensure all risks have been covered.
  • Supporting emergency response and management activities, in accordance with emergency response and management procedures as required.
  • Participating in the development and fully responsible for effective and safe Implementation of marine operations management system.
  • Developing cargo offloading/de-ballasting plans for each offtake in full coordination with the Marine Superintendent and Cargo & Ballast Officer.
  • Developing production rundown/ ballast plan for the LNG, LPG and Condensate during idling mode.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
 

  • Class 1 (Deck Officer) Certificate of Competency with current Liquefied Gas / Oil Dangerous Cargo handling Endorsement, in compliance with STCW and holding of Barge Supervisor Certificate of Competency as per IMO Res.A.1079 (28) issued by a recognized whitelisted maritime authority.
  • 10 years Accumulated Liquefied gas & Oil STS Handling/shipping /FLNG/FPSO experience. Preferably similar offshore/exposed LNG/LPG/OIL STS for at least 3 years.
  • BOSIET and HUET.
  • High Level of Competency in LNG/LPG and Oil handling in STS at offshore environment or exposed STS areas.
  • High level of Competency in DCS and SIS systems, and Permit to Work System.
  • Proficient in Marine Technical Report writing.
  • Advanced level of English language. Intermediate knowledge of French language desired.
